Dr. Boggess is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician
who specializes in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM), Life-style
coaching, and Medical Acupuncture (including its electronic variants).
He received his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from Midwestern School of
Medicine, completed his specialty training in Physical Medicine at the
University of Michigan, and earned additional certification in Medical
Acupuncture through Stanford University.
Dr Boggess is interested in a wide variety of medical approaches. He
especially enjoys treating stress-related pain, headache, sleep, and mood
problems, coaching and treating patients with musculoskeletal
and perplexing pain problems, such as fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, and
substance related headaches, and enjoys assisting patients off prescription
medications to natural alternatives when appropriate and/or desired.
As a licensed physician he also utilizes all the technological advances of
conventional medicine including imaging, diagnostic, and treatment
modalities (including prescription medications) when needed to provide the
most comprehensive care to his patients.
Dr. Boggess is married and has one son, two young daughters, a cat and
a dog. He enjoys yearly sabbaticals to India and South America, practices
yoga, and loves vegetarian cuisine.
